1961 Tollycraft Runabout Scruples IV
Owner Larry Schnetzky of Hermiston, Oregon chose Canoe Cove Marina to restore his Tolly runabout. Stage one of the restoration was from the deck up and followed the original construction methods. The deck was renewed with sapele mahogany veneer epoxied to marine plywood, total thickness 5/16-in and book-matched on the foredeck with pinstriping mimicking seams. Two coats of epoxy were applied, then ten coats of varnish. The deck hardware was re-chromed by Electroshine in Sidney, BC. The vinyl seats are original, as is the dashboard which was renewed with a gel-coating by Blackline Marine.
